‘Camp Freightliner’ Gears Up for Freightliner Chassis Owners Club Member Classes

GAFFNEY, S.C … Members of the Freightliner Chassis Owners Club (FCOC) are invited to participate in “Camp Freightliner” training at Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation’s Gaffney, South Carolina, plant. The classes are open to any members whose coaches are equipped with air-brake systems.

The purpose of Camp Freightliner is to better familiarize motorhome owners with the features and benefits of their Freightliner chassis. For a fee of $100 per FCOC member, participants will learn about such topics as the air-brake and electrical systems as well as proper maintenance intervals, weight distribution and vehicle storage. An actual Freightliner chassis will be used for demonstration purposes.

Each class is limited to 10 students and will be filled on a first-call basis. Freightliner would prefer that only one owner per coach participate, to permit as many of its customers as possible to take advantage of the classes. Once a participant is registered, he or she will be sent an information packet containing further details regarding the class sessions and information about area campgrounds. Those who choose not to bring their motorhomes can take advantage of specially negotiated rates at any of three hotels close to the Freightliner plant.

For detailed information on Camp Freightliner, and to register, FCOC members should call 864-206-8267. They should be ready to give their name, address, phone number and the last six digits of their VIN number when they call.

As a side-benefit, participating FCOC members also have an opportunity to schedule motorhome service at the Gaffney plant during their Camp Freightliner training. To schedule service, call 864-206-8267.
