Alliance Truck Parts Hosts Winners at Final NASCAR Nationwide Series Race of the Season

Homestead-Miami Speedway provided winners with experience to remember

Portland, Ore., – Alliance Truck Parts, a leading aftermarket parts provider for the commercial transportation industry, hosted six winners of its Victory Lane Sweepstakes and Watch-to-Win promotion November 19 and 20 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida. The final NASCAR Nationwide Series race of the season provided an appropriately exciting end to a year of growing momentum for the Alliance Truck Parts brand.

“We’re very proud to be able to share this exciting weekend of racing with customers who won our NASCAR Nationwide Series promotions,” said Daniel Haggerty, director of parts and service marketing for Daimler Trucks North America. “The Alliance Truck Parts Victory Lane Sweepstakes and the Watch-to-Win promotion, held last June during the Alliance Truck Parts 250 at the Michigan International Speedway, provided new opportunities for our customers to find out about our all-makes truck parts and interact with our brand throughout the race season.”

Alliance Truck Parts Victory Lane Sweepstakes winners, Charlotte and Donald Osborne, retirees from San Antonio, appreciated the experience. Charlotte spent her childhood working on cars with her dad, and Donald raced stock cars in his youth.

“We’re having an amazing time. These cars are nothing like I remember,” said Donald while touring the Alliance Truck Parts pit area. “Back then we raced real showroom cars off the lot on Sunday and then shined them up to sell on Monday.”

Charlotte added, “Donald took me to see the local drag races the day before I gave birth to our first child. Racing’s been in our lives for a long time.”

Watch-to-Win winners Nick and Sally Galambos of Maumee, Ohio, had a different story to tell. Nick drives a fleet truck and has an interest in open-wheel racing, but never followed NASCAR. His wife Sally is a die-hard NASCAR fan who’s met many of racing’s legends and follows every race on the schedule.

“When Nick told me we’d won a trip to Homestead-Miami for the final race of the season, I didn’t believe him,” said Sally.

“I may have become a fan this weekend,” Nick added. “The Alliance Truck Parts No. 12 Dodge is driven by Sam Hornish Jr. He’s an ex-open wheel champion and from Defiance, Ohio, just a short drive from our home in Maumee. We’re having a great time.”

Watch-to-Win winner Wesley Roberson from Houston, Texas, brought his good friend Steven Mendez to experience the weekend of racing.

“Alliance Truck Parts rocks! The racing is great, and being able to be trackside at pit row has been amazing,” said Roberson. “Seeing the inside of the car hauler with its collection of springs and parts makes me appreciate how technical these cars really are.”

“We’ve worked all year to build awareness of our all-makes parts brand across the country, and NASCAR promotions have been central to that effort,” added Haggerty. “Our goal is to help truck owners and operators reduce vehicle downtime, lowering the total cost of ownership for these valuable business tools. To be able to share some of the excitement of the Alliance Truck Parts Racing team is a great added benefit.”

Other Alliance Truck Parts promotion winners were Gary D. Free and Joann Keddy, who both won Richard Petty Driving Experience packages.
