Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation Announces 2006 Model-Year Changes for Shuttle Buses

Gaffney, S.C…. Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) today released highlights of its 2006-model-year rear engine shuttle bus chassis. These changes reflect substantial enhancements to the XB Shuttle Bus chassis.

“2006 will be a great leap forward for our customers, most notably with the increase in wheel cut on our standard axle for even greater maneuverability,” said Dean Schaper, Director of Sales and Marketing for FCCC. “Additionally, we’ve refined our ordering and manufacturing process to eliminate unused frame-rail holes and provided our customers more options like front-axle disc brakes.”

Shuttle Bus enhancements for 2006 include:“In the 2006 model year, a number of standard features and optional equipment will deliver more of what our customers expect from the chassis leader,” Schaper continued. “With the bus market growing more competitive, bus builders want their customers to know they’re riding on Freightliner’s reputation of innovation and quality.”
