Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation Appoints New Sales and Marketing, RV/Shuttle Bus Managers

Gaffney, S.C…. Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation has promoted Dean Schaper to the position of sales and marketing manager, and appointed Andrew Harris as motorhome and shuttle bus product manager.

Schaper will oversee the sales performance and marketing plans for Freightliner Custom Chassis’ RV, shuttle bus and walk-in van chassis product lines. He previously held the position of motorhome and shuttle bus product manager and has been with Freightliner since the company purchased the Gaffney facility in 1995.

“We are pleased to have Dean leading our sales and marketing initiatives,” said Jack Conlan, president of Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation. “With his extensive experience, he will help guide our business to new levels of success.

“While Freightliner as a whole works to realign its productivity, Freightliner Custom Chassis remains a strong producer of revenue for the company,” Conlan added. “Both Dean and Andrew will play key roles in continuing to provide the marketplace with our leading chassis products.”

Harris, who was previously marketing manager for Freightliner Custom Chassis, will manage Freightliner’s successful RV and shuttle bus chassis lines. In this position, he is responsible for sales and marketing as well as directing the regional technical sales managers.

Prior to joining Freightliner, Harris held various positions with Delphi Automotive systems including sales and marketing, finance, and project management. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego and a master’s in business administration from the University of Rochester.
