Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation names Phillip Woolen new technical sales manager

GAFFNEY, S.C.—Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) has named Phillip Woolen its technical sales manager for the commercial bus market. He will replace April Newton, who has been promoted to a position in the finance department.

Woolen has been with FCCC for five years, working in the engineering department as a design engineer and application engineer; for the past two years, he’s worked closely with several of FCCC’s OEMs. Woolen’s experience with both the MB and XB chassis will make him a valuable asset to FCCC’s commercial bus OEMs. Prior to joining FCCC in 2002, Woolen’s experience included 10 years in the industrial design and engineering field.

“We’re very excited to have Phillip step into this important role,” says Tony Sippel, FCCC’s commercial bus product manager. “His extensive experience and solid credentials make him an ideal fit for this key position within our commercial bus market.”
