PORTLAND, OREGON…Freightliner Trucks has announced the recipients of the 2004 ASPIRE Awards. The ASPIRE (Acknowledging Sales, Parts & service, Image and Relationship Excellence) Program recognizes Freightliner Trucks dealers who demonstrate superior sales satisfaction, customer service and achieve high levels of performance in all aspects of their business. The award recipients were recognized at the recent Freightliner Trucks dealer meeting in Indian Wells, Calif.
Qualifying criteria for ASPIRE awards relate to sales performance, service capabilities, parts inventory, financial performance and a wide range of other categories.
“Since we introduced the ASPIRE program to dealers last year, we have seen a significant increase in sales performance and marked enthusiasm throughout our dealer network,” said Mark Lampert, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Freightliner Trucks. “I’m proud to see that our dealers have embraced this program and continue to achieve the goals set forth in the ASPIRE Program.”
Additionally, as part of the awards program, the 2004 Freightliner Trucks Dealer of the Year award was given to Freightliner of Evansville, Inc., located in Evansville, Ind., for displaying exceptional dedication and performance in each ASPIRE awards criterion and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction and service in the Freightliner Trucks dealer network. Rip Nichols, President and General Sales Manager of Freightliner of Evansville, Inc., accepted the award on behalf of the dealership.
“I think the number one factor in achieving success is providing quality service. That includes all areas of the business, whether it’s truck, parts or service sales,” said Nichols. “Other essential keys to success are having quality employees and being able to provide quality products to customers, which Freightliner Trucks provides.”
“I think the ASPIRE Program is a motivating factor for employees,” Nichols added. “The impact of winning this award will be very beneficial to our dealership. I believe success breeds success.”
Lampert added, “Our 2004 ASPIRE Award winners are proven, dedicated leaders who are committed to an excellent level of performance in everything they do. We here at Freightliner Trucks congratulate them on their inspiring success.”
The ASPIRE Awards recognize three levels of achievement: Summit, Alpine and Peak. The Summit Award is for dealers who score in the top 5 percent; the Alpine Award is for those in the next 10 percent; and the Peak Achievement Award is for all participating dealers who earn a perfect score in key sales and parts categories. Recipients of the Peak Achievement Award could also be honored with a Summit or Alpine Award. A complete list of award recipients is noted at the bottom of this press release.
