Portland, Ore. – Freightliner Trucks has announced the recipients of the 2005-2006 ASPIRE Awards. The ASPIRE (Acknowledging Sales, Parts & Service, Image and Relationship Excellence) Program recognizes Freightliner Trucks dealers who demonstrate superior sales satisfaction, customer service and achieve high levels of performance in all aspects of their business. The award recipients were recognized at a recent awards ceremony in Carlsbad, Calif.
Qualifying criteria for ASPIRE awards relate to sales performance, service capabilities, parts inventory, financial performance and a wide range of other categories.
“ASPIRE has been successful in recognizing our top-performing dealers that consistently go above and beyond in all aspects of their business,” said Mark Lampert, senior vice president of sales for Freightliner Trucks. “This annual program has also fostered enthusiasm throughout our dealer body and has ultimately strengthened our overall network.”
Additionally, as part of the awards program, the 2005-2006 Freightliner Trucks Dealer of the Year award was given to River States Truck and Trailer Inc. in Eau Claire, Wisconsin for displaying exceptional dedication and performance in each ASPIRE awards criterion and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction and service in the Freightliner Trucks dealer network. Joe Laux, president and general sales manager of River States Truck and Trailer Inc., accepted the award on behalf of the dealership.
“Our dedicated employees have been instrumental in helping us achieve this success,” said Laux. “They’ve helped foster relationships with our outstanding customers, who are now committed to our dealership and the brand.”
“The ASPIRE program has been an excellent tool in helping us establish our goals and measure the results,” Laux added. “For example, the J.D. Power Initial Buyer survey is a feature that allows us to get prompt feedback from our customers and determine if we’ve attained those goals.”
The ASPIRE Awards recognize two levels of achievement: Summit and Alpine. The Summit Award is for dealers who score in the top 10; the Alpine Award is for those in the next 10. A complete list of award recipients is noted at the bottom of this press release.
