DALLAS, TEXAS…Freightliner Trucks today unveiled its new, soft-trim interior package for the Coronado heavy-duty truck line. Already considered one of the plushest interiors available, the new interior improvements continue the Coronado’s industry-leading position for driver and passenger comfort and design.
The upgraded Chaparral premium interior package features a distinctive diamond stitch pattern and button accents, with padded cloth or vinyl upholstery on the seats, walls, headliners and door panels.
The interior padding on the sleeper walls and the under-panel of the upper bunk is extra-thick. This adds contour and dimension while creating a plush, cozy work and living environment.
The Chaparral interior package features five new upgraded colors. Available in cloth or vinyl, the colors nicely complement the Oregon Burl wood grain accents on the dashboard, doors, overhead consoles and modular cabinetry in the Coronado SleeperCab. These accents add warmth and richness to the interiors, providing a pleasing and luxurious environment for the driver.
The Oasis Tan Chaparral cloth interior comes standard on the Coronado. Opal Gray, Autumn Red, Horizon Blue and Graphite Black cloth or vinyl soft-trim packages are available as options.
“The Coronado has a distinctive style that demands a premium interior,” said Mark Lampert, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Freightliner Trucks. “The new interior colors and upgrades, along with modern components and traditional good-looks, allow the Coronado to maintain its position as the flagship truck for discriminating owner/operators.”
The Freightliner Coronado is available with one of the industry’s most spacious sleepers - the 70-inch Raised Roof SleeperCab - as well as the 70-inch Mid-Roof XT (Extra Tall) SleeperCab. Freightliner also offers a Coronado Day Cab for bulk and regional haulers.
