PORTLAND, OREGON…Freightliner Trucks unveiled a new version of the Signature Interior today, available for the Century Class S/T and Columbia heavy-duty truck lines. This premium truck interior provides customers with an additional option for interior comfort and style.
“The new Signature Interior is a stylish option for discerning Century Class S/T and Columbia buyers who prefer a more appointed interior,” said Bruce Smalley, General Manager of Marketing for Freightliner Trucks. “We believe this interior provides our customers with the quality and comfort they deserve.”
The Signature Interior is available in vinyl or cloth with four color options: Autumn Red, Horizon Blue, Opal Gray and Graphite Black. Color-matched curtains and premium, loop-cut pile carpeting complement the new trim panels, which feature button-tufted styling, a diamond stitch pattern and a color-keyed Freightliner logo embroidered on the backwall. Extra thick foam padding gives the upholstered panels a deep, plush feel while contributing to better insulation and a quieter ride.
The seats also have an enhanced, diamond stitch pattern inserted in the center of the seat, along with the color-keyed Freightliner logo embroidered into the seatbacks. Added padding and softer upholstery make the new Signature Interior a very comfortable option for the Century Class S/T and the Columbia.
In addition, the leather-wrapped, black-spoked VIP steering wheel nicely complements the Curl Elm wood grain accents that are found on the dash and throughout the interior. These elegant accents, along with the coordinating carpet and interior upholstery, make for a very tasteful upgrade to the Century Class S/T and the Columbia.
“The new Signature Interior is a great option for upscale fleet buyers who cater to long-time drivers as well as discerning small fleet operators who want a more distinguished interior,” Smalley added.
