PORTLAND, OREGON…Freightliner Trucks unveiled the company’s redesigned and updated web site today. The new www.freightlinertrucks.com offers improved navigation, updated graphics, beautiful interior and exterior product photography, search engines for new and used trucks, dealer parts and service information, as well as the most up-to-date online information about Freightliner Trucks.
“With this redesign, we wanted to increase the focus on our products and really showcase what we have to offer: the multiple configurations, the spacious interiors and the options available,” said Bruce Smalley, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Freightliner Trucks. “We also wanted to make the site more user-friendly so information is available quickly and easily.”
The redesigned web site also features an increased focus on industry application segments. Users can search for vehicles by specific model names or from a comprehensive list of applications ranging from utility to owner/operator to logging.
As part of the redesigned web site, a new interactive photo gallery is available for every model in the Freightliner Trucks product line. Users can view many different configurations of each vehicle in application settings, on the road and on the job.
The updated web site offers vibrant and detailed photography of all vehicles including up-close interior shots which showcase the spaciousness of the cabs and give users a sense of the many comfort features available.
Content on the new Freightliner Trucks web site has also been updated for all market segments, offering the latest and most current product news, component offerings, online brochures and up-to-date dealer parts and service information.
Additionally, the Trucker’s Lounge now features an updated NASCAR page, useful trucking industry links and the latest in Freightliner Trucks merchandise. Users can post pictures of their vehicles in the “Owner’s Gallery” section as well as download Freightliner Trucks screen savers.
The redesigned web site incorporates the Run Smart tagline branding that was implemented in late 2004. Run Smart is graphically represented throughout the updated site.
The web site redesign and development was created by Portland, Oregon-based design firm Pop Art, Inc.
“It’s been two years since our last update and we feel this fresh, visually-appealing and informative redesign is sure to please everyone who visits the site,” Smalley added. “Our new web site is easy to use and gives users a much better view of the interior and exterior of our vehicles, while keeping them updated on the latest Freightliner Trucks news, events and product offerings.”
