LOUISVILLE, Ky., – (March 26, 2014) – Freightliner Trucks will screen the newest Mike Ryan stunt video, “Size Matters 2,” at its booth (#30125) during the 2014 Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS). Ryan will also be on hand to sign autographs during MATS.
Ryan, a record-holding professional stunt racer and stunt coordinator, shows off his driving talents behind the wheel of his 2,400 hp Detroit-powered Freightliner Cascadia® in this follow up to the YouTube sensation, “Size Matters,” video, which quickly generated 1.8 million views.
Freightliner Trucks sponsors Ryan’s Cascadia racing truck in a variety of motorsports events including the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Optima Unlimited Street Car Challenge, Formula Drift Events and a host of trucking industry trade shows.
“We’ve been a proud sponsor of Mike Ryan Motorsports for many years as he’s continued to win many titles in his Freightliner race trucks,” said Mary Aufdemberg, director of product marketing for Freightliner Trucks. “Mike is an amazing driver who always pushes the envelope, and this new ‘Size Matters 2’ video is an adrenaline-pumping thrill ride.”
Ryan created the concept for “Size Matters 2” after the overwhelming response to his first movie that he received from both truck racing enthusiasts and Freightliner fans.
“Size Matters 2” was shot at the Port of Long Beach (Calif.) in February 2014, and showcases Ryan’s Freightliner Cascadia and a Nissan 240 SX drift car playfully chasing each other around the shipping yard, drifting around stacks of sea containers, semi-trucks and cranes. The entire sequence is capped off with a ramp-to-ramp jump through spraying water over a row of multiple parked Car2Go smart cars.
The video will also be available on YouTube and Vimeo. Visit FreightlinerTrucks.com for more information.
