Freightliner Trucks Shine Bright at This Year’s Great American Trucking Show
DALLAS, TEXAS…Freightliner Trucks is displaying six trucks in its booth at the Great American Trucking Show here from August 25-27, 2005. In addition to the tractors, new vehicle features like Freightliner’s Coronado Bright Package will be showcased on a Coronado 70-inch Raised-Roof truck model.
The Bright Package features Panelite stainless steel cab and sleeper light panels, running board and air intake light panels, stainless steel sun visor and inserts and muffler shields. Fender trim, lower grill trim and many chrome plated interior accessories are also included.

The Freightliner Century Class S/T 70-inch Raised-Roof tractor and 53-foot “Run Smart” trailer will also be on display in the truck parking area at the show.
Freightliner Trucks is once again sponsoring the Big Rig Redo event at this year’s show. In its third year as a sponsor, Freightliner Trucks, along with Indiana Custom Trucks – a custom sleeper builder – and design students from Texas Christian University have partnered to transform the interior and exterior of two used Freightliner Classic XL trucks.
One of the vehicles will be redesigned with a hunting/fishing theme, while the other truck will feature a classic race car/hot rod theme. Votes cast at the show by GATS attendees will determine the winning design. The winning team will receive a $1000 scholarship.
On Thursday, Freightliner Trucks will give away ten skybox tickets to the Dallas Cowboys/Houston Texans pre-season football game on Saturday, August 27.
Additionally, two Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders will be in the booth signing autographs on Friday from noon to 3:00 p.m.
Midnight Trucking Radio Network will also be broadcasting live from the booth throughout the entire show.
