LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY…Freightliner Trucks introduced today a new utility brochure for the Business Class M2 utility truck product line. The brochure was distributed for the first time at the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) Demo Expo here. ICUEE is the largest exposition for demonstration of construction and utility equipment in North America.
The four-color, eight-page brochure showcases Freightliner Trucks’ vocational Business Class M2 106, 106V, 112 and 112V truck models in a wide range of utility applications. The new brochure focuses on the many features and benefits of the M2 product line that are specifically beneficial to utility companies in North America.
“Freightliner’s broad line-up of Business Class M2 configurations help utility companies get the job done efficiently,” said Alex Bernasconi, Vice President of Sales, Freightliner Trucks. “With the many standard and optional features specific to utility work, Business Class M2 trucks give utility companies unlimited flexibility to meet any job requirement.”
The brochure includes photographs of the Business Class M2 with various utility body configurations and details key attributes specific to the utility industry. Also highlighted are the Freightliner Business Class M2 utility trucks’ roomy cabs, lower cab height with non-slip steps and wide door openings, key comfort features for utility drivers who must frequently enter and exit the vehicle.
The brochure allows customers to see a detailed list of all standard and optional components and features available for utility applications. Along with the fuel-efficient and responsive MBE900 or MBE4000 engines from Mercedes-Benz, Business Class M2 utility trucks can also be ordered with the latest all wheel drive (AWD) option and several combinations of axles and suspensions for optimized performance.
With and up-to-55-degree wheel cut, set-back front axle and swept-back front bumper, the Business Class M2 has one of the tightest turning radiuses in the industry, improving wall-to-wall and curb-to-curb maneuverability. Additionally, a 2500-square-inch windshield and downward sloping hood provide exceptional visibility in utility applications.
