WILLOUGHBY, OHIO… Western Star Trucks has unveiled two new brochures featuring its line of rugged vocational and highway trucks. Offered at Western Star dealerships and available online at www.WesternStarTrucks.com, the brochures highlight Western Star heavy-duty trucks for a number of on- and off-road applications.
Included in the brochures are enhanced product descriptions; specifications data; information on interior, engine, transmission, axle, and suspension options; and color photography of Western Star trucks hard at work.
“We have redesigned our highway and vocational truck brochures to showcase the premium styling of Western Star trucks while providing customers with information on all of the features and options that make Western Star a custom, high quality brand of vehicles,” said Ann Demitruk, Director of Marketing for Western Star Trucks. “The new brochures highlight our updated offerings and capabilities for every segment, illustrating that a Western Star can take on nearly any job.”
For vocational applications, Western Star offers four premium models.
The 4900 FA is available with a 109- and 123-inch BBC in two set-forward front axle configurations to accommodate a number of vocational applications such as dump, mixer, and heavy haul.
Featuring a 109- and 123-inch BBC in a set-back front axle configuration, the 4900 SA includes a high-visibility hood. A conventional logging hood option also is available on the 123-inch model.
The 4900 EX features a 132-inch BBC and a set-forward front axle, with the traditional look of an extended hood.
For extreme-duty applications, the 6900 XD is built to handle the toughest challenges. It features a 141-inch BBC and set-back front axle.
For highway applications, Western Star offers three models.
The 4900 FA features a set-forward front axle configuration in either 109- or 123-inch BBC measurements. The 123-inch BBC model also is available with the popular LowMax package, which sets the truck almost one foot lower than standard configurations and is ideal for operators looking for a low vehicle profile.
The 4900 SA features a 50-inch set-back front axle and also is available in 109- and 123-inch BBC configurations.
The 4900 EX is the flagship of the Western Star line-up and features a 132-inch BBC and a set-forward front axle. The 4900 EX features an extended, conventional hood that is popular with owner-operators seeking a more traditional look to their vehicles. The LowMax package also is available on this model.
Star Light sleepers are available for all highway truck models in five shapes and sizes from 34 to 76 inches. Plus, the increasingly popular Stratosphere walk-through configuration is now available in both the 68-inch and 82-inch size. The sleepers feature a lightweight, quiet, and insulated design made of composite aircraft material designed to save weight and increase payload. As an added feature, all sleepers can be converted to day cabs, increasing resale value.
All Western Star trucks are backed by customer support programs, ensuring that owning a Western Star has never been simpler. Additionally, dealers located throughout North America provide outstanding customer service. Flexible financing and worry-free maintenance also optimize the Western Star operating experience.
