WILLOUGHBY, OHIO…Sterling Truck Corporation and Western Star Trucks today announced that Kevin Martin has been promoted to Director of Vocational Sales, responsible for the oversight of all vocational sales for the companies. Martin will be headquartered in Willoughby and will manage a team of vocational sales managers. He will report directly to Jon Wyman, Vice President of Sales, Sterling and Western Star Trucks.
"Kevin Martin is an excellent choice to lead the Sterling and Western Star vocational sales team,” Wyman said. "His knowledge and experience in selling vocational trucks in different market segments will be a great asset to our dealers, our customers and the company.”
Martin has been a member of the Sterling Truck Corporation team since its inception in 1997. His most recent position was Sterling’s Vocational Sales Manager in the concrete and refuse industries. He has over 25 years experience in the commercial truck industry and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from DeSales University.
Martin succeeds Nicholas Cole, who has been promoted to General Manager of the Southeastern Region for Sterling and Western Star Trucks.
