Western Star is Exclusive Provider of Loaner Trucks for CMT Show
REDFORD, MICHIGAN… Western Star Trucks today announced that it will be the exclusive provider of loaner vehicles for the new “Trick My Truck” reality television series, debuting on CMT in early 2006.
Created by Los Angeles-based Varuna Films, “Trick My Truck” gives owner-operators in need a complete truck makeover. The transformed trucks feature everything from eye-catching new paint jobs to plasma flat-screen televisions to luxurious new upholstery in the cab and sleeper.
While each truck is being tricked out by Missouri-based Chrome Shop Mafia, the lucky owner-operator is loaned a brand new Western Star tractor so they can continue to run their business.
Perfect for a variety of on-highway applications, the premium tractors come spec’d with powerful components and top-of-the-line comfort features. The trucks provided include three 2005 4900 EX LowMax models with 82-inch Stratosphere™ sleepers, a 2005 4900 SA with an 82-inch Stratosphere, and two 2006 4900 FAs with 68-inch Stratospheres.
Additionally, each truck is decked out with eye-catching “Trick My Truck” and Western Star graphics on the inside and outside of the cab, making it hard to miss driving down America’s highways.
“We are very excited to team with “Trick My Truck” to provide these deserving owner-operators with our high-quality trucks so they don’t miss a day of work,” said Ann Demitruk, Director of Marketing for Western Star Trucks. “We believe the drivers will be pleased with the comfort, premium design, reliability, and outstanding ride of their loaner Western Star.”
