The ergonomic dashboard increases efficiency by bringing gauges and controls closer to the driver

Portland, Ore. – April 25, 2006 – Freightliner Trucks today announced it is now offering an optional wing dash on the 106- and 112-inch BBC models of its popular Business Class M2 product line. Previously, the wing dash was only available on the 106V and 112V vocational versions of the Business Class M2 truck.

The ergonomic wing dash brings controls and gauges closer to the driver for increased efficiency and reduced driver fatigue. Depending on specifications, up to eight additional switches or 16 additional gauges can be installed on the wing panel for maximum flexibility and customization. The wing dash is available in either a gray/charcoal color or wood-grain pattern.

"The wing dash aids in operator efficiency while adding premium styling to the truck interior for greater driver satisfaction and higher resale value," said Jonathan Randall, director of product marketing for Freightliner Trucks.

The wing dash can be selected on all 106, 106V, 112 and 112V Business Class M2 models configured with bucket seats and automatic or manual transmissions.
